The Boris Johanson St Petersburg State Academic Art Lyceum, part of the Russian Academy of Arts, is the leading Russian institution for children’s secondary vocational education with the focus on fine arts.

The exhibition features works of various genres and techniques from the museum collection of St Petersburg University and private collections of 45 authors. Among them are the following: Alexander Benois, Ivan Bilibin, Vsevolod Voinov, Georgy Vereisky, Mstislav Dobuzhinsky, Nicholas Roerich, Andrei Khlobystin, and Evgeniya Evenbakh to name just a few.

SPbU Diaghilev Museum of Modern Art holds an exhibition of Vik’s paintings, an artist from St. Petersburg (Vycheslav Zabelin, 1953–2016) and ends series of events dedicated to the anniversary of S. Diaghilev, the founder of the Russian Seasons.

The lecture focuses on the biography of Tatiana Yurieva. She was Professor at St Petersburg University, the first director of the Diaghilev Museum of Modern Art, and an outstanding art critic and curator. It also discusses her contribution to the formation of the St Petersburg University’s collections.
